Dr. Kormos is Director of the Artificial Heart Program, and Co-Director of Heart Transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. With Dr. Kormos is a former patient, Erika Haas. They discuss Erika’s experience with Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) and how VADs were used as a bridge to recovery.
